Sai Tamhankar a famous actress in Marathi movies, serials and Hindi bollywood films. She was born on June 25, 1986 at Sangli, a city and the district headquarters of Sangli District in the state of Maharashtra. Sai Tamhankar had a passion of acting during college and participated in inter-college competitions. She came to Mumbai in 2004 for doing a course in hotel management and to find her dream, passion of acting in Mumbai. She got an offer for a Marathi TV serial and later worked in many Marathi films including Zhakaas, No Entry Pudhe Dhoka Aahey, Balak Palak, Zapatlela 2, Duniyadari and Time Please.

Sai Tamhankar has done quite a few films in Bollywood; in fact her first hindi movie was ‘Black and White’ (2008). She has also been a part of Ghajini In 2014, she also played the role of a philandering house-wife in Huntterrr (2015). Coming to her personal life, she married long-time boyfriend Amey Gosavi on December 15, 2013. The couple who were in a live-in relationship since 2011. And by early 2012, they decided to take their relationship to the next level, Sai and Amey decided to get engaged in early 2012. They did so on the 7th of April 2012, most probably in Mumbai. Only family members and close friends were invited to the event. Sai had some prior work commitments due to which the couple had to postpone their wedding by one year to December 2013.
